 Video Edit Magic makes it easy to join, split, crop, trim, modify color, and merge your video files. It includes more than 150 built-in transitions, making it ideal for hobbyists and professionals to turn ordinary videos into works of art. A unique benefit of Video Edit Magic is the volume track which is displayed as a volume graph allowing you to change the volume of audio clips at any point from 0% to 400%. You can create fade-ins, fade-outs, Doppler effects, and almost any volume effect that may have required predefined effects.

Most of the commonly used media file formats are supported by Video Edit Magic: AVI, WAV, Windows Media Audio (WMA), Windows Media Video (WMV), Advanced Streaming Format (ASF), Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG), Audio-Video Interleaved (AVI), QuickTime (MOV), AIFF, AU, SND.
In addition to video and audio sources, Video Edit Magic also supports the following image file formats: Bitmap (.bmp), GIF (Graphics Interchange Format), JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group), TGA (Targa or Truevision Graphics Adapter), Mode 2 (uncompressed RGB) in 16-bit, 24,-bit, or 32-bit formats.

What's New in Video Edit Magic 4.0:
1. 2-D Transform Effect: This new video effect enables you to rotate your videos at any specified angle. This effect also supports other transformation tasks like moving and zooming the videos.
2. Redesigned Capture Tool: Video Edit Magic's entirely redesigned capture tool makes it very simple to capture footages from your Web and DV Cameras. You can also control your DV Cameras with the new capture tool.
3. Split Track: The Split Track option provides a quick method to split sources in tracks. Simply move your mouse over sources and click once to split the source.
4. New Compatibility Tab: Video Edit Magic now has a new and useful feature called the Compatibility Tab. This allows you to disable certain incompatible filters while working with Video Edit Magic, without affecting other applications that might require the disabled filters.
5. Sorting in Collection Window: Media files, while in the Details View in the Collections Window, can be sorted on the basis of name, media type, duration, video info or audio frequency for better management of media content.
6. Improved resizing and moving operations: Resizing a source on a track now leaves the position of other sources unchanged with respect to the Timeline. When moving multiple sources across tracks, the alignment of the sources with respect to one another is also maintained. You can also cut copy and paste media files across tracks.
